Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026/08/04

This Privacy Policy explains how Chemistry AI collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal information when you use our website and services, and how you can exercise your privacy rights.

Information We Collect

  • Account and contact information, including your name, email address, authentication details, and communications with support.
  • Content you submit or create through the service, including prompts, uploaded files, generated outputs, conversations, and related task metadata.
  • Transaction information, including the purchased plan, amount, currency, payment status, and provider order identifiers. We do not store complete payment-card numbers.
  • Usage, device, and security information, including IP address, browser and device type, pages and features used, request times, error logs, and moderation decisions.

How We Use Information

  • Provide accounts, AI features, subscriptions, credits, storage, and customer support.
  • Process transactions, maintain subscription status, prevent duplicate fulfillment, and keep required financial records.
  • Screen prompts and generated outputs, investigate abuse, prevent fraud, protect the service, and enforce our policies.
  • Diagnose errors, monitor performance, understand feature usage, and improve reliability and user experience.
  • Send service, billing, security, policy, and support communications and comply with legal obligations.

Sharing and Payment Processing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only as needed to operate the service or when legally permitted:

  • Service providers that support hosting, authentication, storage, communications, analytics, AI processing, content moderation, and customer support, subject to appropriate contractual or confidentiality protections.
  • Payment providers, including Waffo Pancake for new purchases and Creem for existing legacy subscriptions. These providers process payment-card data under their own privacy and security obligations; complete card details do not pass through or remain on our servers.
  • Government authorities, courts, regulators, or other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent fraud, enforce our terms, or defend legal rights.
  • A successor or transaction participant in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to continued protection of the information.

Data Security

We use safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, including HTTPS in transit, access controls, credential protection, monitoring, and limited retention of security and moderation logs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain account and security records, resolve disputes, and meet tax, accounting, payment, fraud-prevention, and other legal obligations. After a verified account-deletion request, account content is deleted or anonymized unless a limited record must be retained for one of those purposes. Retained records are isolated from ordinary product use and removed when the applicable obligation ends.

Your Privacy and Data Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the following rights:

  • Right to know how your personal information is collected and used.
  • Right to access your personal information and receive a copy.
  • Right to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
  • Right to request deletion of personal information and closure of your account, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Right to restrict certain processing of your personal information.
  • Right to receive eligible information in a portable, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing.
  • Right to withdraw consent where processing relies on your consent.

How to Access, Correct, Delete, or Close Your Account

You can review and correct your display name in Profile settings. To permanently close your account, open Security settings, choose Delete Account, review the warning, and confirm the deletion request.

You may also request access, a copy, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, or full account closure by emailing support@chemistryai.chat from the address associated with your account. Please state the right you want to exercise and identify the relevant account or data.

To protect your information, we may verify your identity or ask for information needed to locate the account. We aim to respond within 30 calendar days, or sooner when applicable law requires. If we cannot fulfill all or part of a request, including because certain transaction, fraud-prevention, security, or legal records must be retained, we will explain the reason and available next steps. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Third-Party Services

The service may link to or integrate with third-party services. Their handling of personal information is governed by their own privacy policies. We review providers in proportion to the data and function involved, but we do not control independent third-party websites.

Changes and Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date, and we may also notify registered users by email or through the service.
